It’s finally here! Grassroots football now has its very own social media platform. We are now live on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store! Our mission is to empower the amateur community to safely and securely share their moments with each other, all while creating a portfolio of memories to keep safely stored for life after the beautiful game.
What is Touchline: Play & Connect, you ask? We are revolutionising social media and amateur sports highlights. Inspired by the rise of technology such as VEO and Hudl, we’ve spent over a year carefully developing a centralised platform that unites grassroots football. We’re incredibly excited to offer our community the power to create a brighter and safer future for the sport.
For years, players, parents, coaches, and fans have been forced to resort to well-known platforms for their fill of amateur highlights, only to face endless ads, unrelated content, and a lack of control over what the algorithm shows them. Not only this, but sharing highlights has become a minefield of safeguarding concerns, making it difficult to maintain a positive experience.
So in 2023, Touchline Tracker was formed and we got straight to work. Our vision was to bring all those VEO clips and mobile footage together in one space, where the entire amateur football community can enjoy and appreciate every moment captured across the country. It was clear there was a need for a platform to emerge that players of all ages could utilise, helping athletes and parents to share their highlights with peers and the wider football world, while remaining in control of how widely their content spreads.
We also saw an opportunity to truly inspire and give back to the community. That’s why as an organisation, we’ve committed to reinvesting in schools and clubs nationwide. With big plans to expand into areas such as finding local 121 coaching and professional talent identification, we intend on being way more than just a social media app. Touchline: Play & Connect is here to celebrate and support the grassroots football community like never before.

Our users can register for free and begin to discover players and highlights instantly. From players and parents, to coaches and spectators, there’s something for everyone here with us. Share the moments you’re proud of, showcase your child’s talent, provide insightful coaching tips, or simply sit back and enjoy everything Touchline has to offer.
Perhaps you prefer to keep things private? No problem. Go incognito by setting your profile to hidden, allowing only the people you share your unique Tracker ID with to discover you. This way, you can keep your memories safe and your phone storage clear, all at no cost. Plus, you can change your privacy settings anytime and instantly share your highlights with the broader community whenever you’re ready.
Connecting with your circle couldn’t be easier! Simply search their Tracker ID, access their profile and follow their journey – and don’t forget to share yours too.
